News from Bajor

Greetings from Bajor. This news letter is here to notify anyone who cares to read it on up-to-date news regarding Bajor, the actresses and actors who portray your favorite Bajorans, Bajoran products, and all other pertinent facts that you're just dying to know. I will also be providing you with a monthly Bajoran term. With the Prophets help I hope to be running this news letter on a monthly basis.

Be on the lookout for a growing Bajoran presence in the South Florida area with the arrival of the Runabout Teirysas, the South Florida Chapter of the Bajoran Alliance.

Playmates, which was originally going to make a nine inch figure of Leeta, The Dabo Girl, has decided not to, due to the reportedly low sales of the five inch figure released last year. I am naturally upset with the Cardies working at Playmates since Chase Masterson is my personal favorite Trek star. Chase can also be seen hosting an infomercial for a home exercise device called the Figure 8. This usually airs about 4:00 a.m. on PBS.

Nana Visitor (Major Kira Nerys) has a new fan club, Nanites. Her old fan club has disbanded. However, this new fan club has the highest membership fee I've ever seen for any Trek star. I will be providing a list of Bajoran actresses' and actors' fan clubs in a future issue.

Louise Fletcher (Kai Winn) could be seen on stage at the Oscars when they celebrated past Oscar winners from the last seventy years. She was seated a couple chairs down from Whoopi Goldberg (Guinan).

Now for this month's Bajoran term. Someone once said "greed is eternal." It has also been said that "greed is universal." Keeping those in mind it is no wonder Kirk's words about not using money in the future (Star Trek) and Picard's similar statement to Lily (First Contact) have just gone on to be more Trek contradictions. So, I give you one of the many forms of currency used throughout the Galaxy in the 24th century.
